Young & queer after escape

Are you under 28 years old, LGBTIQ* and have fled to Germany?
Are you looking for queer contacts, support or strengthening spaces?
Do you have questions about asylum procedures and hearings, housing, health, sexuality, German courses or study and training opportunities in NRW?
Would you like to get involved in queer youth work yourself?

There are youth meetings and groups for you in NRW! In addition to the general Offers for all young queers in NRW Are there some groups and meetings that Safer spaces and empowerment for young queers after flight and with experiences of migration and racism offer.

Empowerment means that people who have similar (discrimination) experiences come together in a protected space and exchange ideas, support and strengthen each other. Protected spaces are important so that people can experience multiple discrimination, build and design places and communities in which they feel safe and understood. These spaces are designed and implemented by and for queer people with experience of racism and migration.
Under Links and tips You will also find advice centers and helpful websites.
